The Court ruled that the defendant, a former dealer of a selective distribution car network, is obliged, due to the termination of the distributorship agreement, to remove -within 10 days from the service of the decision- the signage depicting the well-known trademarks of the plaintiffs and to cease and desist in the future from the use of the trademarks anywhere, including its website or any website.
Moreover, the Court ordered the publication of the operative part of the decision in a newspaper at defendant’s expense, while it imposed a monetary penalty of 1.000 € for each future infringement of the cease-and-desist order.
Nikos Grigoriadis argued for plaintiffs-proprietors of the well-known trademarks.
