A former exclusive distributor claimed compensation of 1.000.000€ for abusive and untimely termination of the distributorship agreement by the supplier.
The supplier claimed that the Greek Courts were not competent due to a valid jurisdiction clause that was agreed between the parties, according to which, for all disputes deriving from the agreement the UK Courts were agreed as exclusively competent.
The Court rejected former distributor’s lawsuit for lack of jurisdiction.
Nikos Grigoriadis argued for the supplier.
