Nikos was admitted to the Athens Bar Association in 2003.
A graduate of Democritus University of Thrace, he completed his post graduate studies at the same University, where he obtained an LL.M. in Business Law and Employment Law specializing in Intellectual Property and Competition Law.
He has contributed to the setting of case law, as his published academic work and court cases he tried in the past are been referred to by the Greek courts.
He has advised companies active in a broad range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, travel and leisure, automotive, consumer goods and real estate. He has successfully represented major pharmaceutical companies in competition law court proceedings in relation to parallel trade of pharmaceuticals in Greece and refusal to sell, as well as in distribution and IP infringement proceedings. He has also represented numerous companies of the automotive sector in a series of IP-related proceedings and distribution/commercial agency lawsuits, as well as a global aerospace company in a complex software IP/public procurement dispute. He has comprehensive experience in advising companies on personal data, internet law and new technologies.
He is appointed as Data Protection Officer (DPO) of the “INSTITUTE OF GREEK TOURISM CONFEDERATION” (INSETE), as well as of the “LMW” group of companies.
Nikos has been an Intellectual Property Consultant advising several Greek innovative start-ups and SMEs on a wide range of legal matters relating to Intellectual Property rights on behalf of Small Enterprises Institute of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen and Merchants (IME GSEVEE).
He is a member of the Association of Greek Commercialists.
He speaks English.
His book “Trademark Licensing Agreement and Restrictions of Competition” has been published by Sakkoulas Publications.
